Created in 2014 CGN Europe Energy (CGN EE) is a subsidiary 100% owned by Chinese leader in the energy sector China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN).
CGN EE aims at becoming and major player in the renewable energy industry in Europe and Africa. Today, the company owns more than 850 MW in operation in Europe.
CGNEE has recently acquired the biggest onshore windfarm in Europe (650MW) and in order to lead the Operation team in Sweden we are actively looking for an :

HSE Manager W/M

As HSE manager, you will be responsible to manage HSE on wind and potentially solar sites at CGNEE in Ireland, England and Wales. This will include HSE monitoring of construction and operation activities and management of HSE requirements for CGN EE’s UK & Ireland employees.
General responsibilities (but not limited to):
? Develop and execute HSE management system according to legal guidelines and best practices, in cooperation with the team in Paris.
? Enforce policies to establish a culture of HSE.
? Organizing, execution and follow-up on HSE activities (including all environmental commitments and obligations).
? Carry out site inspections
? Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees, sites and contractors.
? Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
? Carry out incident / accident investigations and root cause analysis.
? Recommend improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
? Report on HSE awareness, issues and statistics to the team in Paris.
? Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers, employees, contractors and regulatory agencies.
? Ad hoc duties as required.

? Minimum 3 years’ experience in HSE dedicated to renewable energy, oil and gas, or electrical grid market.
? Degree specialized in HSE or equivalent.
? Pro-active attitude and highly motivated.
? A second language can be an advantage: French.
? Must possess a valid driver's license.
? Deep understanding of legal HSE guidelines.
? Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies.
